They plan a kick off tournament on July 4th. Here are some details from Chuck: I've filed the sanctioning agreement with Guru today for the D-tier at Highbridge on July 4th like we talked about. Please add to the Wisconsin schedule. Hope you can make it up there sometime to check it out. DISC GOLF MAKES THE PAPERS AROUND WISCONSIN You may have seen disc golf in the paper recently in the Post Crescent, but did you know it was in a half a dozen or so papers around Wisconsin. This and more articles will help bring disc golf into the main stream. The more disc golfers, the more courses, the more organized events, the more sponsorship, the more payout. http://www.wisinfo.com/postcrescent/news/archive/life_15911137.shtml THE FIRST WISCONSIN JUNIOR DISC GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS A SUCCESS 84 Kids played 2 rounds at Kauakauna in the first WJDGC. The results are in the paper. Next year, we may need to look at two courses. Although it's not official, there has been talk of a new record for the size of the junior division for a PDGA tournament to include the Junior World Championships. http://www.wisinfo.com/postcrescent/sports/archive/sports_16130869.shtml NEWS STORIES NEEDED If you have a newstory idea for the AADGC Flyer or if you would like to see something else in your monthly flyer, let me know.
